Bible Lesson Ten Commandments: The Lord loves us very much -just like your mom and dad. And because He loves us his gives us rules to live by.
This is how the Lord did it. He had Moses come up on a mountain. God took two stones and wrote all the rules on them. There were 10 of them.
Moses came off the mountain and showed all the people the stones and told them what God’s rules were.
We all needs rules to have a good life. (Show the pictures) If there were not stop signs cars would run into each other, if we didn’t obey our parents we get hurt, if people could come up and hurt us and not get in trouble we would all be full of bumps and bruises. Show pictures of being kind.
When we have a hard time being kind or listening to our parents we have someone to help us. When we ask Jesus in our heart we can talk to Him and ask Him to help us when we have a hard time following the rules.

t Hi Peter how are you today?
P I feel betteer now. I was really scared before.
T My, what happened.
I was riding with my mom in her car and the light was green . My mom said “I have a funny feeling, I had better slow down.”
T God must have been speaking to her heart.
P He sure was because we just got to where the cars were coming from the other way and the this car car was coming really really fast and just missed hitting our car.
T I am so glad your mom listened.
P And I am glad there are rules that we need to obey. My mom says traffic lights are rules that tell us to stop or to go. If we didn’t have lights we would run into one another.
T That’s why God gave us 10 rules to help us not to hurt each other.
P And my mom says that Jesus rule to love one another is even better than those 10. He wants us to love one another as He loves us and He sure does love us! (Give puppet kisses to those who want them.)
