Props: Animals, flying things, and sea creatures to make Pairs, and Animal games ( butterfly wings, stuffed animals and sea creatures I’v collected over the years. You can also buy cheaply from Oriental Trading SEE SOURCES ) My sister gave me a treasure trove of stuffed animals from her grown kids.

Principles: God made all the Creatures in our world for us to use and enjoy.

Bible Lesson: After God had the earth finished he Let the waters bring forth swarms of living creatures (show pictures of sea creature and have the kids name them.) n H

Then He said Let birds fly above the earth (show pictures of birds and have the kids name them).

Next he said ‘Let the eart bring forth living creatures according to their kinds" (show pictures of animals and have kids name them)

After all this He said "Let us make man in our image" You will learn about that in another lesson.

  • J Hey teacher – I decided I don’t like being a boy because I am always in trouble so I am going to be a fish and swim in the river.
  • T Then you better hurry up and get in some water because you won’t be able to breathe on long
  • J What? But then I couldn’t see my mom. I guess I will be a Frog – He can live on land.
  • T Well he can’t give your mom a hug or ride a bicycle or play soccer. Only the special boy that God made you can do that.
  • J Well I guess it is better being a boy. Even a Bird can’t do those things.
  • T And God will help you too when you want to do things that get you in trouble. All you need to do is ask Him.

(Give puppet kisses to those that want them and then tell them that since God made the animals for us we need to be kind to them and take care of our pets. Be kind and don’t pull their tails -God loves them too.)

finger Play: God made all the animals (sweep with arms) He made them big and small (reach hand over head, and abbend and reach down) He made the alligator that crawls so low (crawl on hands and knees) And the giraffe that is so tall. (stretch neck and walk on tip toe)

Game 1: Picture of animals and animal homes – find the right home for each animal

Game 2: Have animals with a double and they find the animals partner.
